About

Hey y’all!

Welcome to my blog. Thank you for taking the time to read my words. I hope they encourage and inspire you. I hope they remind you that it is okay to have fears and doubts and to make mistakes, because God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. I hope they help you remember that through all joys, triumphs, trials, and struggles, all we need is a mustard seed of faith. That mustard seed, through God’s grace and blessing, can move mountains, achieve dreams, and change the world.

If you’re curious about me, I’m a small-town girl with big dreams. In my day job, I’m an attorney in the beautiful community of Cookeville, Tennessee. For as long as I can remember, I have loved to write. I also love to read books. Any genre will do, but I particularly love historical fiction, mysteries, and true crime. I was not born with any athletic skill, even basic coordination, but I love to watch any and all sports. My favorite sport is cycling, so I spend the entire month of July watching the Tour de France. I am also partial to college basketball and football. My mom is the best person I know, my greatest blessing, and the reason I am who I am today. I also have some great friends that have helped me to accept myself and my flaws and have given me the courage to open up and be myself. They are the ones who first gave me the nickname Ki, and I am so grateful for them. I love Jesus, even though I don’t always do a good job of showing it, and I try my best to live for God’s glory, even though I often mess that up, too.

Here’s to the adventures that still lie ahead and the many days I’m going to need that mustard seed of faith.

all my love, ki
